Get Hands-On with Food Photography

Join us and Canon experts in-store on Friday, May 2nd, for an exclusive Food Photography Workshop with Suze Morrison from Gourmet Glow. This one-day workshop will run through the key elements of creating amazing food photographs, including choosing your ideal lighting, picking the right lens for the job and setting the scene to create mouth-watering photographs. 

Canon experts will be on hand throughout the day to offer advice on your equipment and allow you to try out cameras and lenses.

Get a chance to learn from an expert in the field of food photography. Suze Morrison is a qualified chef, mixologist and food photographer who, using her years of experience in recipe development, creates unique flavour pairings in both food and beverages.

Print Your Favourite Image 

Canon experts will be on hand throughout the day to offer advice on equipment and allow you to try out cameras and lenses. There is also an opportunity for you to print out your favourite image or two from the day on one of their amazing new Pro Printers.

Event Schedule

Arrival - 10:00 

Please aim to be at our store for 10:00. We will begin with a quick introduction and an overview of the day. This is the perfect opportunity to check out the range of Canon cameras and lenses that are available and maybe even pick one or two out to use for the workshop. 

Workshop - 11:00 -15:00

The main workshop will take place on our spacious shop floor, with a break between 13:00 and 14:00 for lunch. 

Review & Printing - 15:00 - 17:00 

At 3 pm, we will reconvene for an opportunity for you to review your images and ask any questions you might have. At 4 pm, we will then take the opportunity to print out your favourite image or two from the day using Canon's New Pro Printers.

How much will the workshop cost?

Tickets for this limited workshop are £99.  There are only 10 places available for this workshop. This limited capacity gives you the opportunity for more one-on-one support and tailored feedback.


Can I bring my own equipment?

Of course! There will be a range of Canon kit to try on the day. Feel free to bring your own camera gear to try a new lens or body.
