Vaonis Hygrometer Sensor for Vespera
The Vaonis Hygrometer Sensor is an anti-fog system for the Vespera Observation Station. This helps to improve the quality of the image whether you are observing or capturing images of the stars. This is perfect for use in humid and\or cold environments.
Fog Is The Enemy
Amateur astronomers are likely to find themselves in cold and/or humid environments, from time to time. This can drastically reduce the quality of the image as droplets and fog can form on the lens. The Vespera hygrometer measures the temperature and humidity threshold of your environment and will activate itself. Heat will then be generated around the lens to remove the fog and create a clearer image.
Perfectly Formed
The Vaonis Hygrometer Sensor measures just 13mm and features a small electronic board. This allows the sensor to fit discreetly into the optical arm of the Vespera. It is also compatible with other Vaonis filters.

FAQ’s
Is the Vaonis Hygrometer Sensor easy to set up?
Yes. Simply remove the standard Vespera lens ring and insert the hygrometer into the notch above the lens. You can then screw the sensor into place using the screw and screwdriver provided with the set. If it is set up correctly, you will be able to see the ambient temperature and humidity once you are logged into the Singularity app.
Is the Hygrometer Sensor compatible with filters?
Yes. The Hygrometer Sensor is compatible with other Vaonis filters such as the Dual Band Filter,* CLS (City Light Suppression) Filter* and Solar Filter.*
