The Vaonis Dual Band Filter increases the contrast between a stellar object and the sky, allowing you to obtain a higher-quality, sharper image. It does this by allowing only Hydrogen Alpha (H-alpha) and Oxygen III (O-III) wavelengths through. These wavelengths are particularly prominent in nebulae.
Outstanding Optical Quality
The Vaonis Dual Band Filter has been specifically designed for use at full aperture, without any impact on the optical diameter of the instrument. The lens ring features an electronic micro-card that allows Vespera Observation Station to detect the Dual Band filter. It can then adapt its observation and image processing parameters.
