With the Peak Design Universal Head Adapter, you can mount any 3rd party tripod head to the Peak Design Travel Tripod, freeing you up to a wider range of photography, scoping, and videography possibilities. The Head Adapter has a universal 3/8 inch threading which is the standard on tripod heads.

The Universal Head Adapter installs quickly using a 4mm hex wrench (included).
Use two ways
There are two ways the head adapter can be used with the travel tripods. Either remove the entire centre column and compact ball head to have just the adapter and no centre column – perfect for an extra secure mount. Alternatively, remove the top part of the centre column with the ball head and replace it with the head adapter to still have use of the centre column.

Is the Universal Head Adapter compatible with other tripods?
It is only compatible with the Peak Design Carbon and Aluminium Travel Tripods.
Can it really fit any 3rd Party Tripod Head?
Absolutely! So long as that tripod has a 3/8 inch thread then it can be mounted to the travel tripod using this adapter – and luckily that is the universal thread size.
