Zeiss Otus ML

The Zeiss Otus range has a long-standing history of being Zeiss' premium quality glass. Made to the highest standards, these lenses produce imagery that is sharp yet subtle and with that signature Zeiss 3D Pop. The new Zeiss Otus ML 1.4/50 and 1.4/85 are the first lenses from Zeiss in quite a while but they do not disappoint. Their manual focus integrates seamlessly with modern mirrorless camera focus assistance to slow down the process and put the creative direction back into your hands.

These new Zeiss lenses are available for Sony E Mount, Canon RF Mount and Nikon Z Mount, gifting you the best in glass with many popular cameras.

Should I buy a manual focus lens?

If your intention is to make slower, more deliberate images then a manual focus (MF) lens will allow you to enjoy the craft of photography on a different level. Modern mirrorless cameras have many features to support manual focus such as Peaking which allows you to photograph exactly how you would like to and combat advanced compositions.

What does Otus ML stand for?

Otus = Derives from a species of Owl native to Asia. It symbolises Zeiss’ best-quality lenses, particularly when it comes to low light.

ML = Mirrorless Lens.
