Kowa PA7-XWR Extended Inner Ring for PA7A
The PA7-XWR Extended Inner Ring is an optional extender to use with the TSN-PA7A digiscoping adapter. This deeper ring allows the use of the new TE-80XW eyepiece that, owing to its longer length, would otherwise not fit in the PA7A.
Digiscope with the TE-80XW
Owing to the longer length of the TE-80XW eyepiece, the PA7-XWR Extended Inner Ring is necessary for attaching it to the TSN-PA7A digiscoping adapter. Without this extended inner ring the eyepiece will not fit and you will not be able to digiscope using a DSLR/Mirrorless camera and spotting scope.
What do I need to digiscope with the TE-80XW eyepiece?
You will require the following:
- TE-80XW eyepiece
- Kowa spotting scope
- TSN-PA7A digiscoping adapter
- PA7-XWR extended inner ring
- DSLR/Mirrorless camera
