This superb zoom lens was launched on the same day as the Hasselblad X1D II 50C. A competitive yet compact addition to the medium format market. It is the 9th lens in the excellent X System series of lenses. You can expect the same prime lens performance in the edge to edge image quality which is found in the XCD lenses.
The internal focusing of this lens keeps its dimensions constant. This also offers up rapid autofocusing and lightweight construction.
The dynamic range of this lens makes it a superb everyday workhorse. It’ll produce superb wide-angle landscape images, through the finely detailed portrait photography. Multiple focal lengths from one lens allow for endless possibilities. This will allow you to keep your kits overall weight; light and portable, but not compromising on creativity or quality.
The full XCD range features an integral central lens shutter. This allows you to maximise your creative potential with exposure times from 68 minutes to 1/2000s. Across the wide range of exposure times, it will always give full flash synchronisation.
Minimal object to image plane distance at 0.42m makes the XCD 35-75 perform impressively well whilst shooting at shorter distances.
