Thanks to being about to take power delivery directly from compatible cameras, the new Speedlite transmitter from Canon takes a much smaller footprint on top of your camera. The Speedlite transmitter is 56% lighter than its predecessor, and weighs just 48g.
Streamlined Design
As the Speedlite transmitter features Canon’s new 21-pin multi-function hot-shoe mount, the Speedlite communication fast and effectively through the camera itself. Meaning that there is no LCD screen typically found with older versions. The transmitter uses the functionality and screen from the camera that it’s mounted to.
No need for batteries!
Taking its power delivery directly from the camera it’s mounted to, the speedlite does not require batteries to operate. The Speedlite will also auto-power off after 5-mins to save the power of your compatible camera.
