The Canon EOS R7 is a hybrid mirrorless camera for filmmakers and photographers alike. Equivalent to the hugely popular 7D series, the EOS R7 features a 32.5mp APS-C Dual Pixel CMOS AF II sensor that can capture stunning images at up to 15fps (mechanical shutter) or up to 30fps (electronic shutter) with precision auto-focus and state-of-the-art image stabilisation. Video capabilities include 4K/60P, Full HD at up to 120P, 4K Timelapse, a Panoramic Mode, C-Log 3/HDR PQ and an incredible 6-hour record limit.

The EOS R7 is perfect for videographers and photographers of fast-moving subjects such as sports, action and wildlife. The camera features Dual Pixel CMOS AF II that uses deep-learning AI to recognise people, animals and vehicles, anywhere in the frame so that you can track your subject with pin-sharp results.
Outstanding IBIS and auto-levelling modes
The camera is capable of up to 7 stops of image stabilisation, when used with a compatible lens to prevent camera shake and produce crystal clear images.
A fantastic new feature is the auto-levelling mode which uses the R7’s in-body IS (IBIS) to auto-level images in both photo and video modes as well as horizontally and vertically. This can be used at the same time as IBIS and is available with both mechanical and electronic shutter.
The camera can also produce amazing panoramic images as the image stabilisation can be applied while swinging the camera.
These modes will work with any RF, RF-S, EF or EF-S lens.

Thanks to the R7’s APS-C sized sensor, lenses will deliver 1.6x more telephoto reach than their 35mm equivalent making it the perfect choice for sports, action and wildlife photography. It also makes it a great option for finding the finer details in landscapes and portraits.

New 32 megapixel image sensor
The EOS R7 features a new 32MP APS-C sized sensor that produces the perfect balance between resolution, speed and low-light performance. The camera is capable of up to ISO 32,000 for stills (extendable to ISO 51,200) and up to ISO 12,800 (extendable to ISO 25,600) when shooting video.
Dual Pixel CMOS AF II and Dual Pixel RAW is made possible thanks to each of the sensor’s 32 million pixels being split into two photosites and operates in up to 651 autofocus zones (31 x 21) with virtually 100% coverage of the frame.
Total connectivity
You can connect to the image.canon cloud* and upload your images directly from the camera via Wi-Fi or smartphone so that you can edit and share your images on social media with ease. You can even process RAW files for the ultimate in image quality.

What lenses are compatible with the EOS R7?
The R7 features an RF mount making it compatible with all Canon RF lenses such as the new Canon RF-S 18-150mm f3.5-6.3 IS STM Lens and Canon RF-S 18-45mm f 4.5-6.3 IS STM Lens (both sold separately).
You can also continue using Canon’s extensive range of EF mount lenses when using the Control Ring Mount Adapter EF-EOS R (sold separately).
What video capabilities does the EOS R7 have?

How long can I record video?
The Canon EOS R7 can record up to a maximum duration of 6 hours (excluding High Frame Rate movies). No 4 GB file limit with exFAT formatted card.
- Normal: 6 hr. High Frame Rate movie (Full HD 120/100fps): 90 min.
- If the camera's internal temperature becomes too high the recording time may reduce.
- 4K 30p HQ: Approx. 60 min. if starting from +23°C.
- 4K 60p Crop: Approx. 60 min. if starting from +23°C.
What battery does the EOS R7 use?
The R7 uses the LP-E6NH. You can use the older LP-E6 battery but this will not provide the fastest shooting rates and in-camera charging.
