It features manual-only focus and aperture rings, with an all-metal build that ensures durability and smooth focusing with zero play from the focus ring. The lens weighs 398g but comes with a balance to counter its front-heavy nature.
Capture fine details
The lens has sharp image quality when shot wide open, particularly in the centre of the frame, while also producing minimal chromatic aberrations and vignetting. The large f1.4 aperture of this TTArtisan lens allows plenty of light to enter the camera, ensuring correct exposure for high-definition images and low-light shots. 10 elements in 8 groups make up the compact optical design, with one aspherical element and one ED element, as well as lens coatings that further increase light intake.
Beautiful bokeh
12 aperture blades allow you to create beautiful bokeh as you stop down the clickable aperture ring. 0.7m close focus gives good depth of field control and subject separation for close-up photography with dreamy-looking backgrounds.
Versatile use
The 50mm focal length is extremely versatile being capable of portraits, landscapes, and nighttime shots. While creative flare is common in the lower aperture settings of this lens, by moving up the stops you can achieve crisp images with sharp sunstars for nighttime shoots.
