Quick-access
The BackLight Series of camera backpacks features a rear-panel compartment designed for quick access to your photo equipment without having to remove the entire pack, saving it from being placed in the mud on your treks. You can simply spin the bag to the front of your body while the waist belt is still secured, enabling you to change lenses or capture a quick photo with ease. A top-zippered pocket also allows quick access to your phone and other essentials.
Slim and comfortable design
Designed for the photographer who prefers a more compact kit, the BackLight Sprint is a slim, lightweight backpack well-suited for hiking or urban exploration, weighing only 1kg. Despite its slim silhouette, the pack can accommodate a standard-sized camera body and a set of zoom lenses. A minimalist yet comfortable harness system allows for all-day carrying and a simplified top webbing handle supports the weight of the bag when off your back. Two large side pockets can each hold a 32 oz Nalgene water bottle or be used with upper compression straps to transport a tripod. This backpack also features an air-mesh-covered lumbar support and rear panel for all-day comfort, as well as a removable padded waist belt for personal preference on days with lighter gear requirements.
Organise your gear
A front pocket with a capacity of 2 litres provides convenient storage for your personal belongings, and it opens vertically on the right side, allowing easy access without removing the pack. The dual vertical daisy chains on the front pocket enhance its functionality and expand its external carrying capacity. Meanwhile, side compression straps with locking SR buckles provide additional attachment points for securing your gear. Additionally, adjustable dividers within the main pack facilitate the organisation of your kit, enabling you to safely separate large telephoto lenses, traditional photo equipment, or personal items with ease.
Ergonomic features
Easy-grip zipper pulls ensure you can access your kit while wearing gloves or with frozen fingers. These high-quality YKK RC Fuse zippers, along with the nylon 420D Dynatec, and 420D high-density nylon provide long-lasting durability and strength to each stress point of the backpack.
Safe travels
Accessing your camera gear from the rear of the backpack adds an extra layer of security when you're on the move, as your equipment is shielded behind your back. All the exterior fabric has a durable water-repellent coating, and the underside of the fabric is further reinforced with a polyurethane coating to enhance water resistance. Additionally, a seam-sealed rain cover is included with the backpack. As part of the Photo Daypack Series, the Think Tank Backlight Sprint backpack is designed to meet the carry-on requirements of most international airlines, allowing for hassle-free travel.
