The StellaLyra 6" f/8 Planetary Dobsonian has been designed to meet an incredibly high standard, featuring a GSO aluminised parabolic primary mirror, easy-to-adjust collimation knobs, and a 1200mm focal length. The StellaLyra 6" f/8 Dobsonian is an excellent choice for visual astronomy. The 6” aperture combined with the long f/8 focal ratio and only 22% secondary obstruction makes the StellaLyra an excellent choice for observing the Moon and planets. Minimum 93% Reflectivity
The StellaLyra 6” Dobsonian telescope is fitted with GSO Aluminised Parabolic Primary Mirrors offering a minimum of 93% reflectivity and a silicon dioxide protective overcoat, ensuring the surface remains bright for years of use.
Easy Collimation Adjustment
The primary mirror cell has been designed with collimation knobs to allow for easy collimation adjustment without tools.
Precise Focusing
Featuring a CNC-machined 2” Crayford focuser with 1:10 dual-speed focus adjustment for smooth, precise focusing. Get a clear and sharp view from the outset with the included fully multicoated 1.25” 9mm and 25mm Piössl eyepieces.
Robust Roller Bearing
Designed with a robust roller-bearing assembly between two metal plates. Enabling smooth, reliable azimuth adjustments. The robust steel shaft and CNC-machined metal plates with large knurled tension adjustment knobs allow for altitude adjustment.
Precise Balance
The StellaLyra 6" f/8 Dobsonian has a convenient balance adjustment mechanism with an engraved scale that enables the telescope to be moved forward or backward for precise balance.

The assembly instructions are generic for 6", 8", 10" & 12" models, so please don't be concerned if your telescope is supplied with fewer screws than shown in the instructions. You will have the correct number.
