The StellaLyra 16” f/4.5 Dobsonian telescope has been designed to an extraordinarily high standard, with its incredibly large aperture this telescope is perfect for deep sky enthusiasts. View close celestial objects such as our very own moon in such crisp high detail you could almost touch it, and observe many deep sky objects such as galaxies and nebulae.
A Life Time of Observation
The StellaLyra Dobsonian telescope has been fitted with a quality GSO aluminised parabolic primary mirror with a minimum 93% reflectivity and a silicon dioxide protective overcoat, ensuring the surface remains bright for years to come. Allowing for a lifetime of use.
Integrated Fan
Designed with an integrated fan to provide cooling to the system while it is in use. This helps to prevent any of the components from overheating.
Easy Collimation Adjustment
The primary mirror cell has been crafted with collimation knobs for easy collimation adjustment without the need for extra tools.
Smooth & Precise Focusing
The StellaLyra 16” has an impressive CNC-machined 2” Crayford focuser with 1:10 dual-speed focus adjustment, giving you smooth precise focusing with minimal image shift.
Included Adapter
The focuser includes a 2” to 1.25” adaptor, enabling you to use both 2” and 1.25” eyepieces and accessories. This adaptor uses brass compression rings to grip them securely without marring the nosepiece. Achieve easy focus even when using most long focal length 2” eyepieces with the included 35mm focus extender.
Clear & Sharp Views
Enjoy a clear and sharp view straight from the outset, with two fully multicoated eyepieces including a 1.25” 9mm Plössl and 2” 30mm SuperView eyepiece.

Smooth Movement & Easy Adjustment
The StellaLyra features a robust roller-bearing assembly, which provides smooth, reliable azimuth adjustment. The metal plates above and below the bearings prevent them from sinking into the softer wood, perfect for maintaining a smooth movement even after years of use.
Simple Altitude Adjustment
The StellaLyra possesses a robust steel shaft and CNC-machined metal plates with large knurled tension adjustment knobs on each side to provide smooth precise movements and adjustable tension for making altitude adjustments.
Convenient Balance Adjustment
Alter the balance easily when changing from a small eyepiece to a large heavy eyepiece, thanks to a convenient balance adjustment mechanism with an engraved scale. This allows the telescope to be moved forward or backwards to maintain a precise balance.
Effortless Viewing
A right-angled correct image 8x50 finder scope is also included with the StellaLyra 16” f/4.5 Dobsonian, for comfort and convenience.
