Fast and Bright F2 Aperture
The Sigma AF 20mm f/2 DG I C Lens boasts a super-fast and bright f2 aperture that allows the lens to work extremely well in low-light and is, therefore, an excellent choice for interiors, landscapes and night sky photography. The wide F2 aperture and 9-blade rounded diaphragm is a perfect combination for creating super-soft and natural-looking bokeh.
Design and build
The Sigma AF 20mm f/2 DG I C is impressively compact and lightweight, weighing just 370g and measuring only 72.4mm making it perfect for photographers on the move. Its advanced optical design consists of 13 elements in 11 groups, including 1 FLD, 1 SLD and 3 aspherical lens elements, all working together to effectively suppress optical aberrations.
Sagittal coma flare is carefully controlled, enabling accurate rendering of bright points of light—making this lens an outstanding choice for astrophotography.
To further enhance image quality, the lens is coated with both Super Multi-Layer Coating and Nano Porous Coating (NPC), minimizing flare and ghosting and ensuring crisp, high-contrast results, even in backlit conditions.
All-weather Mount Design
The lens mount is equipped with weather-sealing, providing photographers with increased durability and flexibility when shooting in challenging weather conditions.
Fast and quiet AF
The Sigma AF 20mm f/2 DG I C features an internal focus system and a stepping motor, allowing for smooth and silent operation, making it ideal for shooting in quiet environments.
