All lenses in the I Series have an all-metal construction in conjunction with precision-cut aluminium parts that give the barrel its sleek and classic finish. This design and build also aids the lens in being durable with protection against dust and splashes.
The lens is constructed with 10 elements in 9 groups with 1SLD element and 3 aspherical elements. A 9-blade rounded diaphragm produces exquisite soft bokeh, so this lens is perfect for isolating your subject.

As part of the classic and stylish look, this 35mm lens from Sigma also brings functionality. A smooth aperture ring allows the photographer to adjust the aperture directly from the len or via the camera, depending on preference.
