Design & Build
The 85mm f1.2 lens has been constructed of 10 lenses in 7 groups, including 1 Aspherical lens and 2 High Refractive lenses in order to produce high-resolution images. The 9 aperture blades produce excellent bokeh and an 18-ray starlight effect. This lens also produces images with the classic, well-saturated colours we have come to expect from Samyang lenses while flare is controlled by Samyang’s ultra-multi-coating (UMC) technology.
