Design & Build
The 14mm f2.4 lens has been constructed of 18 lenses in 14 groups, including 2 Aspherical lenses, 1 Hybrid Aspherical lens, 2 extra-Low Dispersion lenses and 3 High Refractive lenses in order to produce high-resolution images.
The 9 aperture blades produce excellent bokeh and an 18-ray starlight effect. This lens also produces images with the classic, well-saturated colours we have come to expect from Samyang lenses while flare is controlled by Samyang’s ultra-multi-coating (UMC) technology.
