Part of Samyang’s V-AF series, the lens supports resolutions up to 8K, making it compatible with a wide range of the best cine cameras, as well as future-proofing the lens against future camera developments.
All lenses part of the V-AF series are colour matched to ensure colour continuity as you switch lenses. With this consideration from Samyang, you are guaranteed a smooth workflow vital on busy film sets.
Lightweight and Compact
Measuring just 73x70mm and weighing less than 300g the V-AF 75mm T1.9 has a compact and lightweight form. As a V-AF series lens, it shares its weight and size with 5 other focal lengths in the series (Ultra-Wide to Medium Tele). This unified form factor makes it particularly well-suited to being used with gimbals or drones as no additional calibration is required when swapping out lenses.
Tally Lamp
A Tally Lamp located on the front and mount index helps to identify whether a video is recording or not while shooting. The addition of this LED lamp is particularly helpful for video content creation in areas where space and equipment are limited.
Custom Functions
The Samyang lens is customisable to fit into your video workflow. It includes the ‘Focus Save’ function that is most commonly found on professional-level cine lenses. As well as a custom mode that allows special functions to be added to the lens via firmware updates.
