Samyang AF 35-150mm f2-2.8 L Mount Lens
The Samyang AF 35-150mm f2-2.8 is now available in L-Mount. The lens has been designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras and covers a versatile focal length, covering the basics of 35mm wide-angle focal length to 150mm telephoto shots. Perfect for portrait, event, and travel photography as well as macro thanks to its f/2-2.8 aperture and close focus distance of just 33cm.
Samyang’s First L-Mount Lens
The AF 35-150mm f2-2.8 is Samyang’s first lens to be available for the increasingly popular L Mount. There will be many more lenses to follow making them compatible with brands such as Leica, Panasonic, Blackmagic Design and DJI.
This lens is also available in Sony FE mount and has already proved to be one of their most popular lenses.
Versatile Focal Length
The AF 35-150mm f2-2.8 covers five main focal ranges (35/50/85/135/150) allowing you to cover a wide range of photographic styles with just one lens. If that wasn’t versatile enough, the 35-150mm also boasts a short minimum focal distance of 0.33m, making it a great choice for macro work.
Fast f2-2.8 Aperture
This lens offers a maximum aperture of F2 at the wide-angle end for quick and low-light shots. At its telephoto end, this stretches to F2.8 with a shallow depth of field and good subject separation producing a beautifully soft bokeh throughout the zoom range.
The quick shutter speed further helps you in controlling the effects of camera shake and in using a lower ISO, giving edge-to-edge sharpness to your images.
Speedy and Quiet AF
Great for videography and photography, Samyang’s Linear STM (Stepping Motor) ensures quick and quiet autofocus operation that is fully accurate through the lens’ entire focal length range.
Optimised for Video
Features like Digital Par-Focal allow you to maintain subject focus when zooming in and out, while Cinematic Video AF increases stability by adjusting the autofocus speed, making videography easier than ever. Other features include Linear MF Focus Control which works to match the focus ring’s torque to that of a manual focus lens when shooting video in manual mode, and a Dolly Zoom Shot helping you take the perfect tracking shot.
Ergonomic Design
The 35-150mm f2-2.8 features many useful additions, including a focus hold button and custom switch. This offers maximum convenience and versatility in how you use the focus ring and set up the mode via the option Lens Station. A hidden red ring and luxurious black finish give the lens a stylish design, while weather sealing protects it from light rain, snow, and dust for all your adventuring.

Pressing this button on the lens will keep the lens locked to that focusing distance. You can assign functions such as Eye AF in settings on the camera body.
What is a Custom Switch?
There is a custom switch, which can be set to allow adjustment of the aperture silently, by rotating the focus ring. Using the optional Lens Station, you can set up the mode to suit your preference*.
