The lens construction features 12 Elements in 10 Groups, consisting of three extra-low dispersion (3 ED) elements and two aspherical lenses (1 H ASP, 1 ASP) to effectively eliminate chromatic aberration, distortion, and sagittal coma. This ensures outstanding sharpness from corner to corner.
Bright F2 Aperture
The 12mm F2.0 RF-S is a perfect lens for night and low-light shooting thanks to its large f2 aperture. It is also a great choice for macro and depth-of-field shots due to its minimum focus distance of just 20cm.
