Design and build
The Samyang AF 12mm f2 weighs in at just 212g and measures only 59.2mm in length making this a compact and lightweight addition to your kit bag.
The lens features 12 elements in 10 groups using three extra-low dispersion lenses (ED) and two high-refractive lenses (H-ASP and ASP) to deliver sharp images even at its maximum f2 aperture. Backlighting is also reduced thanks to a special 14-layer Ultra-Multi_coating (UMC).
The lens also has a matte finish and a micro-patterned rubber focus ring so that it is easy to grip and operate and has been weather-sealed against light rain, snow and dust.

Boasting a 35mm equivalent of 18mm and a 99.1° ultra-wide field of view you can capture wider landscapes, creative interior shots in confined spaces and up-close portraiture. The ultra-wide-angle and bright aperture of this lens also lends itself to astrophotography so that you can explore the night sky.
