What is the difference between the NEO 2 and NEO 3?
The NEO 2 and NEO 3 both share High-Speed Sync Flash, F-Stop Dimming, Designer Fade Mode and numerous special effects. The NEO 2 has a Kelvin range of 3150-6300 whereas the NEO 3 has a Kelvin range of 3000-10,000. They are also the exact same weight.
The NEO 3 then has the following additional features: Integrated Flash Receiver, Touchscreen Interface, Full Colour Display, RGB Flash, Digital Filters, Integrated Bluetooth & WiFi, Save/Load User Presets and Adjustable Colour Space.
How long can the NEO 3 run on one charge?
With the Rotolight NEO 3 on full brightness, it will run for one hour. Given how bright the NEO 3 is, and taking into account switching it off in between shots, it will easily last a whole session on one charge.
How good is the NEO 3 for filmmaking?
The powerful continuous light makes this an excellent choice for filmmakers. In fact, the NEO 3 is so advanced that you can switch the fans into ‘stealth mode’ straight from the touchscreen menu so that when you are shooting video, there is no sound from the fans.
What battery does the NEO 3 use?
