Pulsar Merger LRF XT50 Thermal Imaging Binocular

The Pulsar Merger LRF XT50 is a premium thermal imaging binocular that offers unmatched observation and identification within the field. It is the first thermal imaging binocular from Pulsar to feature a 1280x1024 12µm, <40mL NETD thermal sensor and built-in image stabilisation, transforming the viewing experience to one with ultimate clarity. It features a wide range of digital functions including stills and video recording, easy image sharing and a precision laser rangefinder within the ergonomically built body for long-range, comfortable observation.

Reveal details up to 2300 Metres

The new large-format HD sensor captures images with a level of clarity that needs to be seen to be believed. The 1280x1024 12µm, <40mL NETD thermal sensor combined with a 50mm f1.0 objective lens and lossless pixel transfer makes it possible to accurately detect heat sources up to 2300m.

The Merger LRF XT50 processes images with minimal compression transmitting a thermal image to the binocular’s display with almost no loss of detail. Minimal noise is recorded due to the f1.0 aperture on the objective lens resulting in an image quality that is maintained throughout the 2.0-16.0x magnification range.

View Far and Wide

Maintain a safe distance with the built-in Laser Rangefinder (LRF) gauge that shows accurate distance measurements between you and your observed object. The Merger LRF XT50 is the first Pulsar device to feature an extended 1500m distance measurement range with an accuracy of ±1m. The measurements can be taken in single steps or in continuous scanning mode depending on your setup.

Comfortably view your full surroundings with the wide 17.5º field of view. Unmatched by any other thermal imaging binocular, this significantly expanded observation area reduces the need to search and scan.

In-built Image Stabilisation

Another first for Pulsar, the Merger LRF XT50 features built-in image stabilisation. A crucial new feature and a game-changer in the field, image stabilisation will revolutionise the viewing experience, particularly when it comes to fast-moving subjects. It will vastly reduce camera shake and motion blur, not only improving the live viewing experience but also improving the stills and video captured.

6 Hour Battery Life

Keeping up with your pace, the Merger XT50 has an advanced dual battery system, with a built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery and a replaceable rechargeable APS3 battery; granting you a total of up to 6 hours viewing!

Comfortable, Ergonomic Observation

The 1280x960 twin HD AMOLED displays are designed to reveal every detail whilst reducing eye fatigue. To match the 6-hour battery life the Merger XT50 has a classic yet ergonomic design. The bodyshell is comfortable to hold for long periods of time and is made out of durable magnesium alloy to withstand knocks and bumps. It has an IPX7 rating, proving it can be used in virtually all weather scenarios including temperatures ranging between -25º to +50ºC and can even survive being dropped in water.

8 Colour Pallets

A choice of 8 colour pallets allows you to optimise your view depending on your specific scenario and changing conditions.

White Hot, Black Hot & Red Hot – these are excellent for object detection, whether its a sparse field or dense foliage.

Rainbow & Ultramarine – these are the perfect settings for increased species recognition and identification.

Sepia, Red Monochrom & Violet – these softer, lower contrast options are best for long, night-time observation.

Integrated Video Recording

Never miss a moment with integrated video recording. The Pulsar Merger LRD XT50 is capable of both stills and video capture, with audio recordings as well for viewing commentary or identifying animal calls. Store it all on the generous 64GB internal memory, or share it on the cloud via the Stream Vision 2 app.

Share your Findings

The Stream Vision 2 application can be reached thanks to the built-in dual-band 2.4/5Ghz wifi module. Connect to your Android or iOS phone or tablet to not only transfer and share images but also use your phone as a remote control to adjust settings and record footage. Furthermore, use the Stream Vision 2 app to download the latest firmware updates.
