Profoto D30
The Profoto D30 is a mains-powered monolight that is perfect for many styles including, portraiture, fashion and product photography whether in the studio or out on location. The D30 delivers excellent flash consistency, bi-colour modelling and a flash range of 11 f-stops while remaining lightweight and compact enough never to be a burden.
Three Flash Modes
The Profoto D30 features an 11-f-stop range and comes equipped with three different flash modes so that you can capture the image you are looking for even easier. ECO mode grants you colour consistency along with an increased equipment lifetime. Boost mode gives you extra power as and when you need it and Freeze mode gives you shorter flash durations so that you can eliminate motion blur in your images.
Fast Recycling Speeds
The Profoto D30 is capable of recycling speeds as fast as 0.01 seconds with no misfires so you can rest assured that you will always get the image you are looking for.
35W Bi-colour LED modelling light
The D30 features a 35W bi-colour LED modelling light that allows you to adjust colour temperature and easily match any lighting environment. The D30 can also be used as a continuous light.
Power for Every Situation
The Profoto D30 is capable of delivering 500 Ws of flash power across the widest energy range so that you can capture the image you are looking for no matter the situation.

The D30 grants you the freedom of creating in or out of the studio thanks to its lightweight, compact and durable design. The light weighs in at just 2.1kg* and measures just 25.5x11x16* making it highly portable.

Is the Profoto D30 compatible with 100 mm Profoto light shapers?
Yes. The Profoto D30 is compatible with all 100 mm Profoto light shapers, including larger and heavier LSTs such as the RFi 4x6’ softbox. The D30 is a flat-fronted light meaning that light shapers designed to be optimised for protruded heads are not recommended.
