The Panasonic HC-X1600 Professional 4K Camcorder is a lightweight and versatile companion capable of capturing stunning 4K footage at up to 60P. The Panasonic HC-X1600 is a versatile and travel-friendly 4K Camcorder. This has been achieved thanks to a thin fan that ensures heat dispersion while allowing the camera to remain as compact as possible.
LCD and EVF
This camcorder displays simultaneously onto a 3.5-inch LCD Monitor and EVF. The 2,760K-dot monitor features touchscreen operation for quick-focussing while the EVF is tiltable for user ease.

The HC-X1600 features a 1/2.5-type 8.29M MOS Sensor and Venus Engine processing unit, allowing you to capture stunning video at up to 4K 60P 420-10bit (HEVC) while suppressing rolling shutter and reducing noise. The body of the camera weighs just 850g and boasts a high operability layout design for ease of operation.
All The Range You Need
The HC-X1600 comes equipped with a wide 25mm f1.8-4.0 lens that has been constructed from 14 elements in 11 groups, consisting of 5 aspherical lenses to ensure sharp and crisp images. The lens offers an optical zoom range of x24 as well as 4K High Precision AF, Face Detection AF/AE and 5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S. (UHD/FHD).
Two Manual Rings
The HC-X1600 features two manual rings so that you can easily adjust the focus with one and zoom with the other. Zoom speed can be varied according to the amount of pressure you apply to the zoom seesaw switch on the body.
Built-In ND Filters
The HC-X1600 comes with built-in ND Filters (ND4,16,64 or Clear). This is especially useful for filming with slower shutter speeds or wide-open apertures in very bright conditions.
Super Slow-motion Recording
It is possible to capture video at up to 120fps with high-speed AF and MF so that all your slow-motion footage is buttery smooth and always in focus.

The HC-X1600 comes equipped with an array of interfaces and connectivity ports for easy connection and transfer. This includes a HDMI output port that allows you to monitor UHD 4K video to a source of your choice. There is even a USB-C port that allows you to charge the camera via a power bank when the power is switched off. This is great news for when you are working on location and have no access to a power source.
Maximise recording flexibility and reliability with dual SD card slots, enabling seamless unlimited relay recording of MOV or MP4 formats by automatically switching cards. Save your camera’s setup to an SD card for quick configuration.

The camcorder offers versatile control with built-in 5GHz/2.4GHz Wi-Fi, allowing seamless wireless operation. Using the HC ROP app, you can remotely adjust settings from a smartphone or tablet. For precise wired control, the 2.5mm REMOTE terminal* enables external operation of focus, zoom, and REC start/stop, ensuring maximum flexibility in any shooting environment.
*A wired remote controller (sold separately) is required.
FHD Live Streaming
The camcorder supports FHD live streaming with RTMP/RTMPS, RTSP, and RTP compatibility, making it easy to stream directly to platforms using Adobe Flash protocols.
