Opticron Discovery WA ED 8x32 binocular
The Opticron Discovery WA ED 8x32 binoculars offer improved performance over its predecessor WP PC model. With it being housed in the same ultra-compact lightweight body, the new Discovery WA ED binoculars feature ED glass to provide brighter and sharper images with enhanced colour contrast. A new eyepiece design delivers a wider FOV for a more immersive experience with or without glasses. They can be carried all day and with a minimum IPD of 52mm used comfortably by nature enthusiasts of all ages. Weighing under 400g/14 oz, this makes the Discovery WA ED 8x32 Binoculars a great travel binocular.
Also available as a 10x32 model.
Brighter and sharper
The ED glass used in these binoculars affords users less chromatic aberration when viewing. When combined with the multi-coating on the optical system, PC phase-corrected prisms, and Oasis C+ coatings, the Discovery WA ED 8x32 binoculars give brighter and sharper images with enhanced colour contrast.
Ultra-compact
Ideal for travel and lightweight (390g/13.8oz) enough to be comfortably carried all day when on walks or simply out in nature. The polycarbonate body is finished with natural rubber armouring and the binoculars have a nitrogen gas-filled waterproof construction, increasing overall durability and protection from the elements.
Wide-field optical system
The wider capabilities of these binoculars give a field of view of 140m (8°) at 1000m, while offering a close focus distance of 1.2m/3.9ft.
