Compact & Lightweight
The M.Zuiko 40-150mm F4 PRO delivers exceptional image quality while remaining incredibly compact and lightweight. The lens weighs a mere 382g while measuring just 99.4mm in length and only 124mm when fully extended, making this the world’s most compact and lightweight telephoto zoom lens.* For further ease of use, the lens has been constructed with a mechanism that allows the user to retract it by simply turning the zoom ring.
Another feature of the lens is an inner zoom system. This ensures that the lens length is the same across the entire focal length, therefore suppressing centre of gravity changes while zooming.

Outstanding Resolution
This lens is constructed of 15 elements in 9 groups, including 2 ED lenses, 1 Super ED lens, 1 HR lens and 2 aspherical lenses to produce outstanding resolution across the entire length of its zoom range. This layout helps to suppress chromatic aberration and ensures high-resolution imaging across the entirety of the zoom range and frame even at the maximum aperture.
Ghosting and flaring have been eliminated thanks to the ZERO (Zuiko Extra-low Reflection Optical) coating allowing for clear depictive performance in difficult shooting situations like backlit scenes.
This lens is the perfect partner for the OM System OM-1 as it fully utilises the high image quality performance of the camera body even with High Res Shot mode.
Not just a telephoto lens
While being suitable for a multitude of photography styles this lens is equally suited for situations where you need to get up close. With a minimum focusing distance of just 70cm (at all focal distances) and a 0.21x magnification (0.41x 35mm equivalent), you will be able to achieve intricate macro shots as well as close up portraits.
The OM System M.Zuiko 40-150mm F4 PRO also supports Focus Stacking* so that you can capture multiple images at various focal lengths and then automatically composite the shot. It is possible to take macro images that are completely in focus from front to back when paired with a compatible camera.

Dust, Splash and Freezeproof
The M.Zuiko 40-150mm F4 PRO lens features IP53 dustproof and splashproof protection and is freezeproof down to -10°C. When paired with an equally dust, splash and freeze proof camera, like the OM-1 you can capture outstanding images in even the harshest of weather conditions.
Another feature of the lens is its Fluorine coating to help reduce friction in addition to its water, oil, and dust repellent performance.
