NIKKOR Z 24-70mm F4 S Lens
A lens for almost all scenarios. The 24mm end will provide you with great sweeping landscape images whilst the 70mm focal end will let you zoom in closer to the action whilst keeping out of the way. Perfect for the street photographer or even studio portrait photographer, the NIKKOR 24-70m F4 S lens comes as part of this Z 6 II kit.
The Ultimate Hybrid
Who is the Z6 II for? Ultimately the Z 6 II is best suited for the hybrid shooter. Packing a 24.5MP image sensor and capable of shooting up to 14fps so you’ll never miss the action, the Z 6 II is also able to capture smooth video in 4K at up to 30p.
*A firmware update is due imminently and will allow the Z 6 II to shoot up to 60p. Giving you the opportunity to slow your footage to half-speed whilst maintaining a smooth and flowing appearance.
The Z 6 II features a CMOS 24MP image sensor that gives you much smaller and more workable files over it’s bigger brother the Z 7 II. The image sensor also features 5-axis VR (Vibration Reduction) so you can take steady, tack-sharp handheld images and video.
The fantastic 4K capabilities on the Z 6 II provide a broad dynamic range and the ability to punch into your video at multiple positions in post-production, making it appear as if you have a multi-cam setup. This is ideal for the solo content creator.
Faster and More Powerful
Unlike many similar-level camera systems, the Nikon Z 6 II features Dual Expeed 6 processors. This makes the camera more powerful and essentially more efficient to the user. The dual processors' aid quicker and more effective AutoFocus, which is a much welcome upgrade from the Nikon Z 6.
AutoFocus Upgrades
The Z 6 II features a much needed AF upgrade. Hybrid-phase detection/contrast AF with Af-assist provides sensitivity from -4.5 to +19 EV and in low-light, -6 to +19 EV. The Z6 II features 273 AF points across a variety of useful AF-area modes, including Eye-Detection and Animal-Detection, even whilst filming.
Shooting up to 14fps at full resolution, with full autofocus and auto exposure allows you to capture those images that other photographers might miss.
Dual Peace of Mind
An upgrade from the Z 6 is the ability to write to more than one SD card. The Z 6 II features 1x UHS-II SD compatible card slot and 1x XQD or the new super-fast CFExpress card slot. The Z 6 II has the ability to separate stills from movies or RAW from JPG and you can configure the slots for overflow and back-up so you can stay flexible with whatever your workflow throws at you.
Bigger and Better Buffer
With the ability to shoot in such high frame rates, the Z 6 II now features a bigger and better buffer. The buffer depth now supports 200 JPGS and approx 112 RAW (12-bit uncompressed) images in one burst.
Get a better grip
We’ve not seen one of these before on the mirrorless range from Nikon. The new vertical shooting grip is great for the portrait photographer or sports photographer, providing improved functionality and flexibility with your shooting. With an added bonus of carrying more than one battery for longer shoots! Click here to view the new shooting grip from Nikon >
Same Classic Nikon Lenses
Featuring the Nikon Z mount, the Z 6 II enables you to use all of your existing Z mount glass. So if you’re upgrading from the Z 6 or perhaps a Z 5, then you can continue to use your existing gear.
New and Improved Battery
The new EN-EL 15c Li-ion battery supports fast USB-C charging on the go. So no need to stop your photoshoot to swap batteries or to recharge.
