Regardless of whether you are shooting in a well-lit sports venue or outside on a dark night, this lens delivers with its extraordinary resolving power and AF performance.
The lens boasts the introduction of a much-anticipated focal length range. It is now possible for DSLR photographers to shoot at 300 mm, without having to be tied to a single focal length, while still retaining outstanding optical performance as there is no need to attach a teleconverter.
This pro-grade lens uses Nikon’s new SR glass, as well as ED glass to combat chromatic aberration. The result of this is that colour fringing is greatly reduced, and harder-to-control blue light (short wavelength spectrum) is thoroughly compensated for. Images are sharper than ever before and contrast is exceptional.
