The Leica Summicron-M 28mm has been optimised with new state-of-the-art technical specifications to maximise the capabilities of the latest generation of sensors.
Lens Construction
The Leica Summicron-M 28mm f2 ASPH has been constructed with nine lenses arranged in six groups, allowing you to capture images with rich contrast and detail. To maintain its overall compact appearance, the lens has been created with an integrated lens hood. This lens hood can be adjusted effortlessly with a twist of your hand.
Creative Minimum Focusing Distance
A minimum focusing distance of only 40 cm allows you to capture creative images with a unique amount of detail at a very close distance. This is thanks to the dual-curve mechanism which has been integrated into the mechanics of the lens, which expands the rotational range of the distance ring in comparison to the previous model.
Quiet & Smooth Focus Ring
The focus ring of the Leica Summicron-M 28 f/2 ASPH lens operates exceptionally quietly and provides smooth and easy adjustments across the entire range.
