The Leica Summicron-SL 50mm f/2 ASPH Lens produces images to the high standard that Leica customers have come to expect. Designed with an incredibly useful 50mm focal length, this fast lens can be shaped to almost any photographic style. Part of the Leica SL system, this lens pairs effortlessly with L-mount cameras such as the Leica SL2 and SL2-S.

Photo and Video modes
The Leica SL2-S boasts two separate shooting modes and menus for outstanding still and moving image performance, making it the perfect companion for those using both formats.
Photo Mode
The SL2-S adapts to the most demanding situations, equipped with the latest Maestro III processor and up to 100,000 ISO, it can shoot endlessly with excellent low-light performance. Additionally, it offers a speed of up to 25fps for DNG and integrates with both Capture One 21 and Adobe Lightroom
Video Mode
The high-end video shooting capabilities of the Leica SL2-S are endless. Videographers have the option of recording in 4K at 10bit 4:2:2 and C4K at 10bit 4:2:2 video, combined with the superior Leica L-Log, endless filming and integrated LUTs, the SL2-S provides a powerful alternative to bulkier film cameras.
Dust and SplashProof
The only mirrorless full format system camera designed and crafted in Germany, next to the Leica M, with an unmatched all-metal solid construction and elegant leather wrap. High ISO Performance
With an ISO value of up to ISO100000 you can - even in low light conditions – take pictures handheld. Pay special attention to the overall pleasant noise, here at ISO 64000.
High ISO performance at open aperture
First-class images in the high ISO ranges are possible even at open aperture. The perfect noise behaviour allows even images with small details to be captured when using the Leica SL2-S in high ISO ranges.
High dynamic range
With the high dynamic range, you can capture all the details between the lightest and darkest tones. Pay special attention to the details and differentiation between the light, medium and dark tones.
High-class image stabilisation
Thanks to precise image stabilization and high ISO performance, you can easily shoot longer exposures handheld, whereas others already have to use a tripod, so you are flexibly equipped - without a lot of equipment.
Multishot Mode
If the 24 MP is not enough and you need a higher resolution, you can increase it to 96 MP thanks to the multishot function, which converts 8 images to one high-resolution image.
