Leica M11-P Body

Through the fusion of a classic design and cutting-edge internal technology, Leica has achieved a truly intuitive camera. This most recent iteration of the illustrious Leica-M range defies limitations by allowing users to select the image resolution they want when using its BSI CMOS Sensor with Triple Resolution Technology and ensures originality with its new Content Credentials hardware.
Signature subtlety
The Leica M11-P shares much with the Leica M11 but compounds on the features that make it unobtrusive, with a stealthier and more discreet look to the camera. By improving upon features that make it the most discreet M camera yet you're able to achieve intimate images with outstanding impact.
Elegant lettering and script engraved on the top of the body replaces the classic red dot on the face of the camera. Plus a dark chrome viewfinder, along with a stylish finish crafted from aluminium for the matte black version and brass for the silver-chromed model.
The aluminium material coupled with the top plate's slimmer design makes the Black version of the camera 20% lighter than the Silver version.
Sapphire cover glass has also been included for a clearer image and more resilient design.
This camera is built to last the test of time. The M Bayonet mount is the same fastener used in the 1950s, delivering 60 years of cross-compatibility with Leica M lenses.
Authentic storytelling
Verify your moments with the M11-P. The first camera to seamlessly integrate content authentication according to the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) and the C2PA standard, bringing awareness to the file’s provenance with a forgery-proof signature to your images.
256GB Internal Memory
An upgraded internal memory of 256GB ensures that high-resolution images can be recorded so you’re not left wanting for extra space. This improves upon the 64GB memory storage of the Leica M11 camera.
Tethered shooting
By connecting your camera to a computer, tablet, or even a smartphone via a cable or wireless app you can continue to shoot while connected, capturing images on your camera which are then passed directly to the computer and saved in a designated folder.

This versatility in choosing the resolution, owing to pixel binning technology, offers unparalleled opportunities to match every image brief. Use the Leica M11-P to photograph exceptional billboard-quality campaigns, tell stories through travel and street photography, and dive into the picture with intense crops packed with detail.
Crop images in-camera up to 1.3x and 1.8x (45mm and 64mm equivalent respectively) to ensure tack-sharp features in every shot.
BSI CMOS Sensor
The Full-Frame Backside Illuminated (BSI) CMOS Sensor features Triple Resolution Technology. Experience improved noise reduction as more light reaches the sensor. Faster readout speeds thanks to the Maestro III Processor, so you are able to react quickly to your surroundings, as and when things happen, perfect for street photography. And higher resolution owing to the Triple Resolution Technology that provides the best performance yet.
Improvements carried over from the M11 full-frame sensor include colour filter technology that features Leica’s dual-layer absorption filter glass. With this addition, the sensor is much more resistant to flare, thus producing images of higher contrast and depth.
Incomparable Image Quality
The three resolution choices offer a range of different shooting styles, all of which create imagery of incomparable quality. As well as photographing in 60MP 14bit DNG, lower the resolution via pixel binning to 36MP for maximum performance overall, or again to 18MP for maximised noise reduction in low-light environments.
With a wide ISO range of 64-50000, the Leica M11-P performs extremely well in low-light conditions. Across the resolution choices, the camera operates with up to 15 stops of Dynamic Range ensuring that high and low-light details can be recovered with minimal disturbance, including an Extended Dynamic Range for JPG files for shooting in high-contrast lighting situations.
Advanced Metering Features
This improved function uses less power consumption than most CSC Mirrorless cameras for improved energy efficiency.
Available in rangefinder mode, multifield light metering offers light readings for both still and flash exposure. Excellent accuracy is achieved as the metering is always calculated when the shutter is open, increasing the spontaneity of the photographic process.
Fast and Sharp Every Time
Experience shooting at a lightning pace, the Leica M11-P has an electronic shutter speed of 60s to 1/16,000s and a mechanical shutter speed of 60 minutes to 1/4000s. This incredible speed, achieved by the BSI CMOS Sensor, allows for a greater range of photographic styles and experimentation with this manual focus camera.
Further noise reduction via an additional “black picture” is also present, with the option to disable the function if desired.
Unique Memory Card Slot System
Capture more with the Leica m11-P's unique memory card slot system. UHS-II cards are recommended for use with the Leica M11-P, however, the camera also accepts SD/SDHC/SDXC and UHS-I memory cards.
Improved Accessibility
The Leica M11-P does not feature a baseplate at the bottom of the camera. The removal of the baseplate instead ensures direct access to the new USB-C port, battery compartment and SD card slots for improved accessibility.

For a fast and easy workflow, Leica includes multiple connectivity options for iPhone and iPad users. Connect to the Leica FOTOS App for firmware updates directly from your smart device. Use the FOTOS app to view, rank, select and edit your photos for instant sharing.
Enhanced Menu
A redesigned menu can be found as used in the Leica M11. An optimised touch display, button and menu layout matches the SL2/Q cameras. Also keeping the M11’s additional FN button to improve operation speed, making it easier to find the functions you use most.
Energy Efficient
The Leica M11-P uses the BP-SCL7 battery offering top performance for a more energy-efficient choice.
