FAQ
Will I be able to use Ilford SFX 200 35mm film without a red filter?
Yes, you can use this in the same way as any other film without a red filter, it will still take in the infrared light, produce images with high contrast and show details that you might not have noticed with other films. The image will appear very close to a normal photograph. However, if you want to produce more dramatic shots you will need to pair the film with a red filter, this will strip out a lot of the visible light, while letting all the infrared to pass through.
