Hoya HD NANO II UV Filter
Hoya has designed their HD NANO II UV filters single-mindedly focused on the protection of your camera lens. A UV filter is a great addition to any outdoor photographer to reduce potential accidents. The choice of materials and structure that Hoya has used within this filter makes them one of the best UV protection lens filters on the market.
Ultra-hard nano-coating
The chemically enhanced optical glass that has been used in the manufacturing of these UV filters is 4x stronger than usual optical glass. The 32 layers of ultra-hard nano-coating make this one of the strongest UV filters available.
Secured with press mount technology
High-density sharp cut UV glass has been used in the construction of these filters along with press mount technology the glass is held securely within the frame. A very thin frame allows you to add additional filters to your lens effortlessly.
Permanent lens protection
Designed to resist some of the most severe shooting conditions. Add this filter to your lens to serve as a permanent lens protector. The ultra-hard surface coating is 800% more scratch-resistant than general coating. You will not need to replace your protective filter due to distortion caused by scratches on a filter, you would begin to see these appear over time with other filters.
Easy to maintain
The scratch-resistant qualities coupled with its water and oil repellent coating, make this an easy filter to clean and maintain with very little effort. Spend less time wiping your lens and more time getting the shot you want.

FAQ
How to store filters?
While UV filters can often be attached to your lens and simply forgotten about, you may want to swap out your UV filter for an ND filter when out on a shoot. We would suggest keeping your spare filters in a pouch such as the Shimoda filer wrap 100 to make sure they are safe and secure when you want to use them.
