Hasselblad XCD 3.4/75P Lens
Unleash the brilliance of 100-megapixels with the Hasselblad XCD 3.4/75P lens. Designed to complement modern medium-format cameras, this standard lens with an equivalent 59mm focal length is powerful, lightweight, and agile. At its heart, it is designed to produce exceptional image quality and is perfectly suited to portraiture and street photography.
Perfect for Portraiture
As a 75mm (59mm equivalent) focal length, it combines the advantages of both standard and mid-tele lenses. It is a focal length ideal for full and half-length portraits as well as street photography and still-life.
Additionally, compared to other lenses in its range such as the XCD 4/28P and the XCD 4/45P, the 3.4/75P has a wide f3.4 aperture that allows much richer detail to be captured in low light environments and produces a highly appealing bokeh.
Exceptional Optical Design
The sophisticated design of the ten lens elements placed in ten groups creates a uniquely light lens that is compact yet has powerful optical performance. It features an aspherical lens element and three ED elements that combine together to greatly suppress chromatic dispersion for imagery of exceptionally high quality.
It is a lens that certainly meets the demands of a 100MP sensor, with edge-to-edge sharpness and clarity throughout, the photos taken on the XCD 3.4/75P lens will be vibrant with lifelike colours.
"H" Quality
To date, the Hasselblad 3.4/75p is the longest focal length and largest aperture medium format lens in the XCD P series*. It is 24% shorter than the XCD 2,8/65 and weighs 398g making it 45% lighter. It has the new design language of the XCD P series, with a sleek metal body and signature “H” pattern around the focus ring.

Fast Focusing
The focusing is fast and precise thanks to the linear stepping motor moving a smaller and lighter focusing lens group. This design makes focusing much faster and more responsive than other medium format lenses. Use this lens with the X System or V System medium format cameras that support Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) for even more swift, precise and flexible focusing.
A leaf shutter module further enhances the 3.4/75P’s professional shooting features by working up to 1/2000s shutter speeds with minimal vibration and noise. This makes it perfect for fast-moving subjects while flash synchronisation is supported at all speeds.

FAQs
What is a leaf shutter? How does it work?
The leaf shutter is built into the lens structure. Its most significant advantage is that it can achieve flash synchronisation at all speeds (e.g. if the max shutter speed is 1/2000s, the flash sync speed can also reach 1/2000s). This helps capture fast-moving subjects when a flash is used and is also helpful for portraits using maximum aperture in strong lighting conditions or outdoors.
What is the equivalent focal length of the XCD 3.4/75P lens?
The equivalent focal length is approximately 59mm.
