Exceptional Optical Design
Constructed with 16 elements in 12 groups, including three aspherical elements, the lens effectively minimises aberrations to deliver absolute corner-to-corner sharpness. The XCD lens works perfectly with the medium format sensor of X System cameras, delivering high-resolution images across all focal lengths with Hasselblad’s natural colour and detail.
Fast Leaf Shutter
An updated integral central leaf shutter offers a range of effective shutter speeds from 68 minutes to 1/2000th of a second. Flash synchronisation is compatible up to 1/2000th second as well, allowing you to explore striking imagery even under mixed light sources.
Stepping Motor Focusing
A maximum aperture of f3.2 at 20mm and f4.5 at 35mm ensures a sharp foreground and smooth bokeh to match your artistic choices. The stepping motor focusing system is compact, fast, precise and near-silent for both autofocus and manual focus, this is especially noticeable when using Hasselblad’s 100MP PDAF technology.
Elegant Design
A robust yet elegant metal body, the lens is design to be both durable and beautiful. An engraved H logo can be found on the focus and zoom rings as well as a branded nameplate with “V” insignia.
