Great in low light
FUJINON’S unique EBC coating allows 95% of light to pass through the binoculars, being great for low-light performance. The high-quality EBC multi-coating which has been used on all the lenses and prisms increases the light permeability for bright, natural colour reproduction, providing greater overall image clarity.
Built for distance
Featuring a minimum focus distance of 20m, a field of view of 5.3°, and an apparent field of view of 49.7°; the Fujinon 10x70 MTR-SX is clearly built for distance viewing. A magnification of 10x provides key detail while not limiting the field of view too much. The objective lens diameter of 70mm allows a lot of light into the lenses, which will be ideal for pursuits such as stargazing, though you may need a tripod for extended and stable viewing. At dawn, dusk or with dense tree cover, having a high exit pupil number such as this can make viewing easier.
High-quality construction
Rubber armouring on the body ensures stability by allowing users to have a firm grip, even with one hand, and the additional benefit of preventing slipping even when wet.
Durable in their design, the binoculars have a shock and impact-resistant body constructed to a military standard. The eye relief offered by the binoculars is 12mm which will be helpful for glasses wearers.
Weatherproof
Designed with waterproof and fogproof seals (Nitrogen Purged), as well as having the openings hermetically sealed by O-rings to keep air, dust, and moisture from entering its body.
