Housed in a lightweight, weather-resistant body, the X-T5 maximises functionality and portability while improving the imaging performance of its predecessor. Standout features include up to 15fps in mechanical shutter, up to 20fps with the electronic shutter, a 160MP pixel shift multi-shot mode, up to 7 stops of IBIS, a 1/180,000 Max Shutter Speed in Electronic Shutter, an ISO range of 125-12800 and a 0.8x Magnification, 3.69 Mil Dots EVF.
The X-T5 is also a perfect camera for videographers, allowing you to capture video at up to 6K/30P 10-bit 4:2:2 as well as externally record Apple ProRes Raw or Blackmagic RAW. You can also capture up to 13+ stops of dynamic range when recording in F-Log2.
Also available in the following kits:
Outstanding Images
The Fujifilm X-T5 comes equipped with the 40.2MP X-Trans 5 HR BSI Sensor. This high-resolution sensor features an enhanced image-processing algorithm that boosts resolution to bring out the details of any image. The camera also features an X-Processor 5 that optimises the pixel layout for exceptional detail and colour accuracy.
Perfect for Videographers
The X-T5 can capture video footage internally as high as 6.2K/30p in 4:2:2 10-bit colour as well as a 4K HQ mode which oversamples 6.2K footage for superior 4K output. You have the option to record in F-Log or F-Log2 with the latter providing an expanded dynamic range of 13+ stops. It is also possible to output 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW and Blackmagic RAW via HDMI, to an Atomos or Blackmagic device.
Other video options include 4K/60P and 1080/240P at 4:2:2 10-bit up to 720Mbps.
7 Stops of IBIS
The X-T5 can produce up to 7 stops of in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) to reduce camera shake even in low-light conditions. Pair this with an enhanced algorithm for improved motion detection and you are virtually guaranteed to produce shake-free photos and stable panning when capturing video.
160MP Pixel Shift Multi-Shot
In addition to 7 stops of IBIS, the X-T5 also features Pixel Shift Multi-Shot that allows the user to produce 160MP images. To achieve this, the camera records 20 frames and then shifts the sensor by 0.5 pixels between each frame. The frames are then combined using the Pixel Shift Combiner software to quadruple the camera’s resolution.
Never Miss A Shot
The X-T5 is capable of producing a top electronic shutter speed of 1/180,000 sec as well as a maximum mechanical shutter speed of 1/8000 sec to ensure that you never miss the action. Keep your finger down and you can capture black-out-free image bursts at up to 15fps when using the mechanical shutter and can go as high as 20fps with the electronic shutter.
The NP-W235 battery allows you to record up to 680 frames from a single charge, while the mechanical shutter guarantees 500,000 actuations, for long-term accuracy and reliability.
Track Moving Subjects With Ease
You can track moving subjects easily thanks to the 3.69m-dot electronic viewfinder. This bright, vibrant display offers 0.8x magnification for an easy-to-view image as well as a 100fps refresh rate for virtually blackout-free image capture.
Smooth Skin Effect
You can apply the “Smooth Skin Effect” to your images to reduce your post-production time. This automatically smooths the skin tone which can be of particular for portrait photographers.
Auto White Balance
The X-T5 utilises Deep Learning technology to automatically determine white balance. This is achieved by accurately recognizing warm light-bulb colour.
Shoot From Any Angle
The X-T5 features a 1.84-million-dot three-way tilting LCD to make it easier for you to shoot in a vertical position or at waist level.
The Choice Is Yours
The X-T5 comes equipped with 19 Film Simulation modes, giving you access to Fujifilm’s legendary colour science and hugely popular selection of Film Simulations. This includes “Nostalgic Neg” which is characterised by high saturation and soft tonality.
The camera also supports the HEIF image format, which delivers 10-bit image quality in files up to 30% smaller than standard JPEGs.
Design & Build
The Fujifilm X-T5 weighs only 478g,* making it 50g lighter than the X-T4 and features a weather-resistant body that is almost the same size as the X-T1. The X-T5 retains the same classic design as other cameras in the X-series allowing key functions like ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation to be set easily even when the camera is switched off. Other features include Dual UHS-II Card Slots, an NP-W235 Li-ion Battery, a Micro HDMI port, a 3.5mm Mic input, Headphone (Adapter) and a 2.5mm Remote Release.
