New 26.1MP Stacked BSI imaging sensor
The first X Series camera to feature a newly designed 26.1MP Stacked BSI imaging sensor, allowing the X-H2S to boast superb low light performance thanks to its improved light sensitivity and high processing speed.
Subject Detection Autofocus
Fujifilm has improved the autofocus capabilities of the X-H2S, with their intelligent autofocus functionality being 3x faster than their preceding X-T4 model. The introduction of subject detection autofocus makes use of AI to generate the optimal focus. Subject Detection AF has been designed to offer a border range of identifiable subjects, assisting in focusing accuracy. This new system allows you to track a range of subjects such as cars, planes, trains, motorcyclists, birds, horses, dogs, cats and many more.
Expanded Face and Eye Detection
The original face and eye detection have also been improved upon. Enabling you to pick up an expanded range of features including hairlines, glasses and even face coverings. The X-H2S autofocus is capable of working in light levels down to -7EV, allowing you to still detect and track fast and erratically moving subjects even in low light.
EVF 0.5 inch OLED Colour Viewfinder
Fujifilm’s efforts to produce a hybrid film camera have not gone unnoticed, with special attention placed on increasing the responsiveness of the X-H2S. A 5.76M-dot OLED electronic viewfinder (EVF) has been integrated into the body, providing superior high contrast, high colour gamut and high-speed responsiveness.
40fps Electronic Shutter
The X-H2S can capture 15fps using a mechanical shutter and up to 40fps with its electronic shutter. Never miss a moment when capturing your images, a fantastic feature for live sports events or one in a lifetime moments. The X-H2S has been created with a high-capacity buffer, keeping up with the high frame rate and allowing for continuous recording and writing of JPEG and RAW files to a high-speed memory card when using the mechanical shutter.
Recording Video Internally
Fujifilm’s X-H2S camera is capable of recording up to 240 minutes of footage at a range of resolutions and frame rates, including 6.2K/30p video internally in a full-sensor 3:2 aspect ratio, 4K/120P and Full HD/240P. Along with the ability to capture 10-bit 4:2: 2 Apple ProRes to a CFexpress Type B memory card.
Professional Movie Capabilities
The Type A HDMI port allows you to also record externally in either F-Log, Flog2 Apple ProRes RAW or Black Magic Cinema Camera Raw footage in resolutions of up to 6.2K to an external device.
14 stops of dynamic range
The Fujifilm X-H2S is able to process 14 stops of dynamic range, enabling the X-H2S to optimize the level of image detail across a uniquely wide exposure range. Allowing you to capture a fuller range of light and colour when capturing your footage and photographs.
Up to 7-stops of Internal Body Image stabilization (IBIS)
Designed with a 7-stops of IBIS, coupled with the AI-powered advanced autofocus system, capture amazingly clear still photographs. The X-H2S has been created to deliver high-quality performance for both skilled filmmakers and professional stills photographers.
