Compact and travel-ready
The DJI RS 4 Mini features automated axis locks that unlock upon power-on and lock when powered off or in sleep mode, streamlining setup, transitions, and storage. Its upgraded folding design allows for a flatter, space-saving structure, that can be stored at the press of a button, making it easy to pack and carry.
Powerful yet lightweight
Weighing just 890 g (2 lbs), the RS 4 Mini supports a payload capacity of up to 2kg, accommodating popular mirrorless camera setups like the Sony A7 series with a 24-70mm F2.8 GM II lens or vlog setups with DJI Mic accessories. Plus, high-torque motors ensure stable shooting, even at maximum focal lengths, without rebalancing.
The NATO port on the side of the body of DJI RS 4 Mini supports the installation of accessories such as a briefcase handle, external fill light, and microphone to build your perfect kit as and when you need it.
Vertical video
The DJI RS 4 Mini features 3rd-Gen native vertical shooting for the fastest vertical switch in the RS series, adjusting to ever-changing framing demands. With a simple single-side knob adjustment, you can switch positions in just 10 seconds. Simply remove the horizontal plate and rotate it 90°, then tighten it back into place to quickly capture vertical content optimised for mobile viewing.
Effortless balancing adjustments
The gimbal features Teflon-enhanced axis layers, reducing friction for ultra-smooth panning and rolling adjustments. A fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis allows for millimetre-level precision, while the upper quick-release plate with three positioning slots ensures easy rebalancing when switching setups.
The DJI RS 4 Mini supports PF (Pan Follow), PTF (Pan and Tilt Follow), FPV, 3D Roll 360, and Custom modes. Further features, such as intelligent tracking and composition can be unlocked via the DJI RS Intelligent Tracking Module (sold separately) and with a DJI RS 4 Mini Phone Holder (sold separately) for quick smartphone stabilisation, it can further adapt to any filming scenario.
Wireless control
With Bluetooth pairing, the DJI RS 4 Mini enables wireless start/stop recording via the gimbal’s record button. The new zoom control lets you adjust Power Zoom for PZ lenses and Clear Image Zoom with a simple joystick push for smooth, one-handed operation. Once paired, your camera reconnects automatically for an uninterrupted workflow.
Intuitive UI
This gimbal’s interface is truly user-friendly; with a clear touchscreen that displays status prompts, a front dial for precise on-the-fly adjustments and an auto-lock function to prevent accidental touches whilst saving power.

DJI RS Intelligent Tracking Module
The RS Intelligent Tracking Module enables precise subject tracking, intuitive composition, and gesture controls for hands-free operation. With a magnetic locking design, it quickly attaches to the RS 4 Mini’s tilt axis, supporting tracking up to 10 meters, even in complex environments where a subject may temporarily leave the frame.
Instantly lock onto a subject with one press or activate tracking with a simple hand gesture; perfect for vlogs and solo filming. The new Responsive mode enhances fast orbit shots, while the Smooth follow mode ensures fluid follow shots or parallel tracking that guarantees professional results.

This next-gen briefcase handle for the RS 4 Mini has a 20% reduction in size and around 28g cut off the weight compared to the DJI RS Briefcase Handle, making low-angle handheld filming even more effortless.
