DJI RS 4
The DJI RS 4 is a lightweight gimbal that supports next-generation native vertical shooting, and features enhanced operation efficiency and improved stabilisation performance. The gimbal has been designed to carry cameras weighing up to 3kg/6.6lb and is perfect for solo cinematographers looking to tell gripping stories.
The DJI RS 4 Combo and DJI RS 4 Pro are also available.
Perfect for Content Creators
The DJI RS 4 comes equipped with a horizontal plate that can be easily switched to a vertical position for vertical shooting. This makes the RS 4 a perfect choice for those wishing to create content for YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram.
2nd-Gen Automated Axis Locks
The RS 4 features 2nd generation automated axis locks that allow the gimbal to start up or go into sleep mode quickly ensuring that you are ready to capture footage at any time. The axis locks reduce gimbal shake thanks to smaller gaps when locked.
Teflon Coated
All three axes of the RS 4 have a Teflon coating which produces less friction and smoother balancing. The gimbal features a fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis allowing you to move the camera back or forward when switching bodies and/or lenses for precise, millimetre-level balancing. There is an adjustable placement guide on the upper quick-release plate for secure camera mounting.
Automatic Screen Lock
The RS 4 incorporates a new auto-lock feature into the 1.8-inch OLED Touchscreen. Once the lock is engaged it will display the current modes at a low brightness. This helps to conserve battery power as well as user settings if the gimbal is knocked accidentally.
Perfect for Mirrorless
The RS 4 has a maximum payload of 3kg (6.6lbs) making it perfect for most mainstream mirrorless cameras. The tilt-axis has been extended by 8.5mm to offer expanded balancing space so that you can also add accessories such as ND filters.
4th-Gen RS Stabilisation Algorithm
The RS 4 features a next-generation RS stabilisation algorithm to aid in different usage scenarios. This delivers an optimised balance between stabilisation strength and the tactile feel of camera movement, for both excellent stabilisation performance and an enhanced user experience. It also offers significantly improved stability when vertical shooting, allowing for dynamic shots like running or low-angle perspectives.
Up to 12 Hours of Power
DJI RS 4 has a runtime of up to 12 hours and is compatible with the BG70 High-Capacity Battery Grip,* which extends the runtime up to 29.5 hours.

Bluetooth Wireless Control
The RS 4 allows you to control camera shutter and lens-zoom remotely thanks to Dual-Mode Bluetooth technology. The joystick can be used in zoom control mode so that you can control Power Zoom for PZ lenses and Clear Image Zoom. The camera will reconnect automatically after it has been paired the first time.
Support for DJI Focus Pro Motor
You can pair the RS 4 with the new DJI Focus Pro Motor* which allows you to control lens focus via dial or adjust the lens zoom via joystick.
*The DJI Focus Pro Motor is included in the DJI RS 4 Combo.
Trigger Function Customisation
You can customise the trigger function to FPV mode. This will make the gimbal's three axes follow the direction of the grip's movement when pressing and holding the trigger. This is of particular use when shooting rotational footage or simulating POV.
Gimbal Mode Switch
You can quickly access PF, PTF, and FPV modes thanks to the gimbal mode switch. You can also set FPV mode to 3D Roll 360 mode or Custom mode according to the shooting requirements, ensuring RS 4 is precision-ready.
