Cokin NX Expert Kit
Cokin’s NX Expert Kit has been developed to contain all the necessary filters and filter accessories to create stunning photographs. The kit includes a Cokin NX Filter Holder, Polarising filter, and three L Size adapter rings. This kit also contains one NUANCES Extreme ND1024, one NUANCES Extreme S-GND8, one NUANCES Extreme R-GND8 and one NUANCES Extreme H-GND8, all mounted in Cokin NX filter frames
Cokin NX Filter Holder
The NX-Series Filter Holder has been designed to hold 100mm filters. Crafted from premium aluminium, the NX-Series Filter holder has reduced overall weight with an increased maximal angle of view.
Cokin NX Filter Frames
Designed with premium aluminium Cokin’s NX Filter Frame has been designed to hold square filers. This Expert Kit comes with NX Filter Frames, fitted with the NUANCES Extreme ND1024, S-GND8, R-GND8 and H-GND8 filters. Cokin NX frames are compatible with filters with a precise 2mm thickness and with the Cokin NX-Series filter-holder.
Polarising Filter
Cokin has produced their high-quality polarising filter for use within their NX-Series filters and filter holders. The glass on the filter has been manufactured with anti-reflection and anti-fingerprint coatings, allowing you to enjoy more consistent results while using this polarising filter. This filter itself is high-efficiency and absorbs only 1 f-stop of light.
NUANCES Extreme ND1024
This solid ND filter has a full 10-stop light reduction. These ND Filters are ideal for use with really long exposure photography, letting you create images with smooth motion. For example, turn a fast-flowing waterfall into a calm constant flow of water. The glass in the Nuances Extreme ND1024 has been crafted with tempered mineral optical glass, allowing for a stronger filter. This means the filter can endure any extreme conditions and resist drops, nicks and scratches that might occur.
NUANCES Extreme S-GND8
The NUANCES Extreme S-GND8 also known as NUANCES Extreme Soft Graduated Filter, features a soft graduated transition between the darker and lighter areas of the filter. This is amongst the most used type of graduated filters used by photographers. It allows you to take more balanced images, letting you adjust for the exposure of the ground without the sky becoming too over-exposed. This filter is therefore very popular amongst landscape photographers.
NUANCES Extreme R-GND8
The NUANCES Extreme R-GND8 filter works on the same principle as the S-GND8 filter, covering one section of the lens in a darker filter to block light from reaching the camera's sensor. The reverse graduated filter (R-GND8) inverts the graduated filter, so the darker zone is at the centre of the filter and grows lighter as it moves away from the centre.
NUANCES Extreme H-GND8
Produce a more dramatic contrast in your photographs with the H-GND8 (hard graduated filter). Unlike the S-GND8 and R-GND8 filters which have a gradual transition between the dark and light sections, the H-GND8 filter features a fast transition between dark and light sections. The density of the filter is constant over half of the surface of the filter.
NX-Series System Wallet
Cokin has created a well-designed, easy-to-use, practical wallet to carry your NX-Series filters. Allowing you to keep them safe and protected, ready for their subsequent use. Designed with 6 filter slots, one front pocket, and two inner pockets, providing you with plenty of space to accommodate a complete NX-Series system.
Adapter Ring Cap
The Cokin NX Adapter Ring Cap has been designed to allow your NX (L Size) adapter ring to remain attached to your lens while providing your lens protection. This means you can have your camera set up and ready to shoot in your bag and have it to hand without any need to switch out the filters
Phosphorescent Exposure Card
A Phosphorescent exposure card can be found within the front pocket of the Nx-Series System Wallet. This can be used to check for the best exposure to use when taking long-exposure photos.
