A sturdy and efficiently movable tabletop Dobsonian-style base allows for quick yet smooth adjustments and reliable long-term viewing, while its low profile makes accessing the eyepiece easier. Locate objects with ease thanks to the easy-to-follow on-screen arrows that direct you to your desired target. Then when the bullseye turns green, it's ready to view in the telescope's eyepiece.

Quickly and easily align your phone to the telescope's optics and launch the StarSense Explorer app to begin your journey. Using StarSense sky recognition technology alongside your smartphone’s app the telescope can analyse star patterns overhead and calculate the telescope’s position in real time. Through this, you can locate faint, deep-sky objects in seconds and see them in incredible detail. The app will automatically generate a list of objects currently visible so you can easily view planets, brighter nebulae and galaxies, star clusters, and double stars even from the city.
Functional build quality
The use of Teflon bearings provides smooth motion along the telescopes' two altitude and azimuth axis’. A 114mm (4.5”) parabolic primary mirror provides sharp detail and bright views when viewing celestial objects. The telescope also features a 1.25” rack-and-pinion focuser that accepts 1.25” eyepieces and dust covers for the front of the tube and the focuser.
