Celestron NexYZ 3-Axis Universal Smartphone Adapter
The NexYZ 3-Axis Universal Smartphone Adapter is the perfect tool for digiscoping with a wide range of equipment. Unique to Celestron, this adapter’s position can be adjusted on three-axis for the most precise alignment. For use on telescopes, spotting scopes, binoculars, monoculars and microscopes. Compatible with any eyepiece that ranges from 35mm to 60mm in diameter, including telescopes with a 1.25” or 2” eyepiece. It is the complete digiscoping solution for every application.
Unique X-Y-Z axis design
Unique to Celestron the NexYZ can be adjusted on three different axis points. Centre the smartphone camera over the eyepiece with the X and Y knobs until the entire field of view is in shot, then adjust the Z axis to get the perfect shot.
Fits all phone styles
Designed to accommodate all smartphones with a width between 65mm to 90mm, including larger “phablets” such as the iPhone 11 Plus. The secure platform stands the weight of these heavier devices due to the strong metal spring and threaded twist lock, the tension of which can be adjusted if necessary.
Easily switch device or instrument
The set-up of the adapter is so simple that in just a few adjustments to re-centre the camera, this can be mounted to a different instrument such as scope or binoculars in seconds. Alternatively, the adjustable phone platform allows for different phones to be switched out very easily which is ideal for star parties or group bird walks.

Does this require the download of any apps?
No additional downloads required – simply insert the phone into the adapter, open the camera app and adjust until the entire field of view is in the shot. The entire process only takes around 30 seconds.
Do I need to remove my phone case?
The adapter allows for enough room for most phone cases to fit in the slot. However, larger phone cases such as those with built-in batteries or folio style cases will need to be removed first.
Is there any optical instrument this does not fit?
The only instrument this smartphone adapter will not fit is a riflescope.
