Celestron NexStar Evolution 6 Inch SCT Telescope
The NexStar Evolution 6 inch SCT is the first Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope to come equipped with integrated WiFi, allowing you to scan the night sky with a tap of your smartphone or tablet. You can connect your device easily via the Celestron mobile app which is available for iOS and Android. The telescope also features a built-in, ultra-long life battery that provides up to 10 hours of use on a single charge and can even be used to charge your other devices via the USB charge port.

The NexStar Evolution has been designed with the user in mind. Using years of customer feedback, Celestron has been able to incorporate many thoughtful design features that combine to provide you the best possible experience out under the stars.
Batteries ARE Included
The NexStar Evolution telescopes feature a built-in, ultra-long life battery so that you don’t have to rely on an external power supply. The lithium-iron phosphate battery provides up to 10 hours of use on a single charge and can even be used to charge your other devices via the USB charge port. There is even an intelligent power management system that senses when the battery levels are low and initiates a power-saving modesto that you can keep observing for a s long as possible.
Easy Setup
The NexStar Evolution features large, ergonomic handles that aid in a quick and easy set up so that you can be observing the heavens in no time. The all-metal tripod features a metal accessory tray with indentations for storing and carrying the tripod. There are also leg etchings to ensure you get a level, uniform height. You can manually point the scope when powered off thanks to manual clutches in both altitude and azimuth. The tripod features 2 accessory trays that allows you to store up to 7 eyepieces, one with an adjustable red LED illuminator.
Superior tracking
The NexStar Evolution is the only fork-mounted telescope, in its price range, to feature brass worm gears, along with improved motors. This ensures that the tracking accuracy is so good that you can capture images of deep-sky objects such as the Orion Nebula by simply attaching your DSLR camera.
Bright and Sharp Views
You can enjoy bright and sharp views every time thanks to the Schmidt-Cassegrain optical system with StarBright XLT optical coatings.

The NexStar Evolution 6 inch SCT also features 4 auxiliary ports, a classic NexStar+ hand control, StarPointer finderscope, two 1.25” Plossl eyepieces, a 1.25” star diagonal, and an AC adapter.

Solar Warning
- Never look directly at the Sun with the naked eye or with an optic (unless you have the proper solar filter). Permanent and irreversible eye damage may result.
- Never use your optic to project an image of the Sun onto any surface. Internal heat build-up can damage the optic and any accessories attached to it.
