Celestron NexImage 5 Solar System Imager (5MP)
Capture the stars in high-resolution with the Celestron NexImage 5 Solar System Imager. The 5MP colour sensor works with almost any 1.25” telescope to bring out tremendous detail of the planets, stars and astronomical anomalies.
5 Mega Pixel Colour Sensor
Take high-resolution 5-megapixel images with almost any telescope. The NexImage 5 Imager works with the included software package to bring out incredible detail that rivals those taken with much more expensive astronomical cameras. The System Imager records data in full colour with ON Semiconductor’s breakthrough low-noise CMOS imaging technology that dramatically reduces the image noise levels.
Control Your Images
Using the included iCap software you can manually adjust the gain, contrast, exposure time, frame rate and colour saturation using your PC. With this level of control, you can tailor the camera to each individual star or viewing environment for the best results every time.
Image Stacking
Take stacked images by recording a short video that the included RegiStax software analyses each frame of. The software automatically filters through the frames, discarding those of low quality, the remaining frames are layered on top of each other to create a high-quality image with maximum brightness, clarity, colour and detail.
Works in Light-Polluted Areas
The NexImage 5 Solar System even works in areas with relatively high light pollution. If you can see it in the sky then NexImage can photograph it.
Machined 1.25” Aluminium Body
The NexImage 5 is built out of machined aluminium that is lightweight but durable. With its 1.25” adapter barrel with C-threads, it can connect to almost any telescope, and can be used with standard 1.25” eyepiece filters.
