Celestron Inspire 100AZ Refractor Telescope
The Celestron Inspire 100AZ Refractor Telescope is an excellent entry-level telescope that is easy to pick up and use right from the get-go. Packed full of features including two eyepieces, an integrated smartphone adapter and a tripod with a folding accessory tray, this Alt-Azimuth mounted telescope will provide celestial enjoyment for years to come.
Feature-packed entry-level telescope
Packed full of features, the Inspire 100 has everything required to make your time observing the sky as enjoyable as possible. An integrated smartphone adapter is built into the lens cap as a zero-hassle way to get into astroimaging. Simply secure your phone to the lens cap with the included bungee cords, align the camera with your eyepiece and you are ready to take your first high-power images of the night sky.
Also included in this telescope kit is a red light LED torch which is one of the most beneficial accessories to own as an amateur astronomer. It mounts onto the in-built accessory tray and can be removed for convenience. There is also a StarPointer Pro red dot finder that will help you to quickly centre an object for easier observing of Planets.
Superb optics
The Celestron Inspire 100AZ has an aperture of 100mm, the widest out of the Inspire range. This wide aperture is perfectly suited for observing deep-space objects as it provides a bright view of the night sky. A 90° erect image diagonal is provided with the telescope.
Included in this kit are two fully coated eyepieces: 20mm and 10mm. The 20mm provides a 33x optical magnification that is wide enough to locate deep-sky objects whilst also providing excellent detail. The 10mm eyepiece provides a 65x magnification for highly detailed observations of such objects as the Moon’s craters, the Orion Nebular and the Andromeda Galaxy. Both eyepieces are manufactured to Celestron’s high-quality standards to ensure a bright, sharp view of the night sky every time.
Manual Alt-Azimuth telescope
The 100mm refractor telescope is intuitive to use. Explore the sky with a panhandle Alt-Az control with a clutch for smooth and accurate navigation. The long clutch moves in all directions (up/down, left/right) to track your object in the eyepiece.
Easy to transport
This telescope kit is great for transportation or spontaneous observations in the garden. It sets up in minutes, even the first time out, with no tools required. The included tripod has an adjustable height of up to 1.2 meters and a folding accessory tray connected.

Solar Warning
- Never look directly at the Sun with the naked eye or with an optic (unless you have the proper solar filter). Permanent and irreversible eye damage may result.
- Never use your optic to project an image of the Sun onto any surface. Internal heat build-up can damage the optic and any accessories attached to it.
- Never leave your optic unsupervised. Make sure an adult who is familiar with the correct operating procedures is with your optic at all times, especially when children are present.
