Exploring the universe has never been easier!
The Astro Fi 130mm is incredibly easy to set up so that you can start observing the night sky right away. The telescope and adjustable tripod weighs in at just 18lbs making it easy to take this with you anywhere.
You can also use the scopes lens cap as a smartphone adapter. Simply place the smartphone inside the adapter and then secure it over the Astro Fi’s eyepiece to capture images and video of all your discoveries.
The scope itself is a computerized alt-azimuth Newtonian telescope that is perfect for terrestrial and celestial viewing such as the craters on the Moon, the rings of Saturn, the Great Red Spot on Jupiter, the Orion Nebula, the Hercules Globular Cluster and so much moret.
It is also possible, thanks to the star diagonal that provides right side up viewing, to use it a spotting scope during the day.
Control with your smartphone
You can easily control the telescope with your smartphone thanks to the SkyPortal app. The scope emits its own wireless connection so that you can connect and enjoy remote observing. The app replaces the need to use the hand control so that you get a 100% wireless experience.
All you have to do is scan the night sky, select an object that you would like to view, tap the object in SkyPortal and watch your Astro Fi telescope automatically locate the object. You will even get information about the object display on your device so that you can learn as you go.
Everything you need
Included with the telescope is a StarPointer red dot finderscope that allows you to quickly centre an object, an integrated smartphone adapter, as well as two eyepieces (25mm and 9mm). The two eyepieces are different magnifications for low- or high-powered observing.
Lens Cap/Smartphone Adapter
You can even capture images or video of the objects you are observing thanks to the lens cap/smartphone adapter that is provided with the kit. The adapter allows you to connect any smartphone to any telescope eyepiece with an outside diameter of 45mm or smaller.
Simply attach the adapter over the top of the eyepiece, fasten with the cords to hold securely in place and snap away.

Solar Warning
- Never look directly at the Sun with the naked eye or with an optic (unless you have the proper solar filter). Permanent and irreversible eye damage may result.
- Never use your optic to project an image of the Sun onto any surface. Internal heat build-up can damage the optic and any accessories attached to it.
- Never leave your optic unsupervised. Make sure an adult who is familiar with the correct operating procedures is with your optic at all times, especially when children are present.
