Celestron 40” Telescope and Tripod Bag
Carry and protect your telescope in style with the Celestron 40” Telescope and Tripod Bag. This bag stores an entire telescope kit of most standard reflector and refractor optical tubes, including the mount and tripod. Keep all your kit together in this portable grab-and-go case. It is a must-have accessory for any telescope owner.
Durable Material
Made out of ultra-durable 900 denier polyester, this water-resistant bag can withstand being taken to any dark-sky location. The walls of the bag are lined with 16mm thick EPE foam sheets for added protection, plus the PVC reinforced hard base panel offers extra shape and protection against minor bumps. The exterior of the bag has hard rubber elements that provide extra strength and water resistance.
Custom Interior
Depending on the size of the equipment you own you can customise the space within the bag. Padded velcro wall inserts can be arranged in three different configurations. Accessories have plenty of their own dedicated storage in the external zipped pockets, or in the padded accessory bag. Alternatively, clip them to the bag’s external fabric loops for an outer carry.
Two Carry Ways
The Celestron bag has two carry options depending on your needs. For a quick carry, use the pair of sewn-in handles. Or, use the clip-in padded shoulder straps for a hands-free carry.

Is this bag waterproof?
No. But the thickness of the material does make the bag water-resistant to light showers, plus the PVC base will protect your bag from water ingress if placed in a shallow puddle.
