Borderless Printing
The PRO-300 is capable of borderless printing on a wide variety of media and paper sizes, including glossy or fine art papers. Print BIG with custom lengths up to 990.60mm, those panoramics you’ve had on your hard drive can now be printed and displayed in all their rich-coloured quality with the PRO-300.
Enhanced colour gamut for greater depth
The PRO-300 used 10 LUCIA PRO pigment inks to deliver a stunning true colour. The printer also has a dedicated chroma optimiser ink to reduce any bronzing and deliver outstanding tonal superiority. Produce a truer black than ever before with the PRO-300’s Matte Black ink that enables a greater expression of monochrome images. When using fine art paper, blacks will be deeper and more vivid.
3-inch colour LCD menu screen
A clear and bright 3-inch LCD screen allows instant monitoring of printer functions, ink levels and paper settings.
Accurate and high-speed printing
Have confidence in your printing thanks to the Canon Professional Print and Layout software and plugin, which aides your colour-matching to a next-level. Canon’s L-COA PRO processor efficiently handles large image data and calculates precise ink consumption at super-fast speeds so you can get printing quickly.
The PPL plugin can work either as standalone software or as a plugin through Canon’s Digital Photo Professional imaging software, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Lightroom. Manage layout settings as well as previewing your image before you click print. Monitor and govern colour management on every print for colour continuity.
Handy tools to help keep your prints professional
Keep running costs low with numerous in-built functions that help you maintain such a professional piece of printing equipment from your own home. Technology taken from the PRO-1000 model, Canon’s print head design incorporates a number of spare nozzles to ensure no banding in the images whilst it’s being printed. If a nozzle is detected as blocked then the printer will rely on the backups to ensure your print isn’t effected half-way through.
The PRO-300 will also assist when paper may not be correctly aligned. The Paper Skew Correction will automatically correct the media to ensure a perfectly level print.
The PRO-300 intelligent printing system checks the density levels of the ink tanks and will periodically shake the ink cartridges to achieve a consistent print quality.
